Installing the Firmware

Before updating the firmware, save the data using the latest version of the Radio Control Program ARCP-590 and write the data back after updating the firmware.

Which version is installed in the radio?
There are two methods of finding out which firmware version is installed in your TS-590S.
Method #1

Turn the radio OFF at the front-panel ON/OFF button.

While holding in the M.IN button, turn the radio ON again at the front panel ON/OFF button.

The currently installed firmware version is displayed on the front panel.

Release the M.IN button.

Turn the radio OFF and ON again to resume normal operation.
Method #2

Start ARCP-590.
-
Connect to the radio in the usual way.

Click on “Help > About” to see the currently installed firmware version.
